The bison range,Far and wide,
Many people hunt them,
And so don't I,
I live with them,
They are my friends,
They teach me their ways,
And help me live,
On the wild side.

Have you ever seen bison in real life? I've only seen them in a zoo but my parents went to Africa this summer and brought back incredible photos of very scary looking bison. They told me that the old ones are especially dangerous because their group rejects them, so they have to wander alone, which makes them very angy. But your poem shows a much nicer side of them. I particularly like when you say "they teach me their ways, and help me live".

I'm curious about bison milk. I read somewhere they make cheese out of it. Do you know anything about that?
